In partnership with the manufacturer of machine tools LUREM, I opened a school of training to the wood-turning. This structure can welcome five persons simultaneously.
You work on wood-tours TB 1250 equipped with an inhalation of dusts. For the sharpening part, you arrange four tourets the most successful at present on the market.
These trainings are for the greenhorns as the persons already introduced to the work of the wood.At the conclusion of your training course, you will leave with parts and objects which you will have executed.

Initiation (5 days)
(complete beginners)
Monday Morning to Friday Evening.
- presentation of the tools, security,
- Position of the body, how to held the tools,
- Wood-turning technics, control of the tools,
- sharpening,
- tournage entre pointes, tournage en l’air,
- drilling on the wood-turn,
- study of the differents woods used.
After the exercices, making of differents pieces(tool clubs, Decoratif cork, Baluster with square base, egg-cup, Foot of lamp).

hollowing-out Technics (3 jours)
The preliminary participation in an introductory course or a regular practice of the shooting is necessary to take advantage completely of this training course.
From friday Morning to Sunday Evening.
- digging the wood of end,
- digging the wood of fault,
- finishing on the woodturn.
Tools Used : digging crosscut chisel, ring and scraper.
Realization of various objects (Bowl with closed opening, plate,box,fine vase).

Sharpening(1/2 day)
Sharpening of the hand tools for the wood (woodturning tools, wood carving, carpentry, cabinetmaking)
During this sequence you will teach in!
- Recognize various steels,
- slope to give to the bevel of a tool,
- forms to give to the tool,
- unmorfil,
- use various types of grindstones, of stones.
You will have the possibility of working on:
- watergrindstone "Tormeksystem",
- emerygrindstone "Haffner system",
- abrasive strip "Koch system",
- Felt-tip"Koch system".
